We have been stuck in an inversion.
If I am reading my stats correctly we have had a 4 degree difference in temperature in the last 2 and 1/2 days. (66 hours to be exact).
Monday, Nov. 26 at 1600 hrs to today, Thursday, Nov. 29 at 1000 hrs. the low was 29.4 and the high was 33.2.

We ended up with 2.05 inches of rain yesterday. Nov. 19th.
In 1996, Hood River, OR had 1.91" for a record.

The first snow of the 2012-13 season fell early this morning.
Turned on the rain gauge heater for the first time.
0.6" equals 0.7" precipitation.
We don't need to start feeding the cows or horses yet.

Snowing on Satus Pass, but still dry here in Glenwood.
It has turned colder and it is definitely nippy.
Reading WeatherUnderground's History for today, Nov. 9:
"A large storm, dubbed the "Freshwater Fury", caused eight large ore carriers on the Great Lakes to sink on this date in 1913. Nearly 270 sailors on the ships perished. The storm also brought large snow amounts to the area, including 36 inches of snow at Pickens, WV."
