What A Wet March It Has Been!

By: adams19, 7:14 AM GMT on March 20, 2011

I think it has rained every day this month. Finally, today, March 19 we had a sunny day with no rain.
But, the track meet in Goldendale was cancelled because of last night's snow.
Tonight is the super moon. Closest to the earth in 18 years.

QUITE THE SNOW DAY

By: adams19, 7:31 AM GMT on March 01, 2011

I'm not sure I have ever seen it snow as hard as it did today and not amount to much.
Huge, thick flakes started coming down at 7:00 am. With a strong south wind, the south side of everything is plastered white.
After snowing hard all day, it quit about 5:00 pm and we only have about one foot of snow.
The temperature varied only 3 degrees between 31 and 33. The barometer is on its way up now.
Some pictures of today.
