The UK and the Tropics Update - 03/07/2014 (9pm BST)

In the UK
The UK is currently experiencing some absolutely lovely weather at the moment as we enjoy the tail end of a high pressure system moving its way across Central Europe and the Baltics which today brought us the hottest day of the year with the nearby village of Writtle in Essex seeing 28c, while in Ipswich it seemingly reached about 26 or 27c.

Well this is WeatherWomble here. I have been a member of Wunderground on and off since around 2006.

I am an 18 year old looking to study a Geography Bsc at Lancaster University in October. I have been fascinated in Hurricanes and the like since I was very young, and considering I have little to do this summer - I thought I might return to what I've used for many years as a key source in these Tropical Cyclones.
