Ocean Current

By: TrustedAdjusters , 8:20 PM GMT on February 28, 2014

Over the last few years, I have been paying closer attention to marine conditions when I fish the reefs off of Ft Lauderdale. I have gotten pretty good at forecasting wave heights based on wind speed and direction. One thing I have not been good at is forecasting the direction and speed of the current before I get out on the water. I have noticed that speed of the current does change as I go shallower or deeper.
Is there a way to predict ocean current direction & speed?

Thanks for your input!

This would be my first choice but they are updating everything & switching servers or something. Getting alot of forbidden I don't normally see. Maybe try it in a week or two. Select your area & horizontal current velocity & how deep of a layer or surface. It normally gives a forecast too.
