Windy cold and crazy day.

By: Truckergrandma , 5:17 AM GMT on February 14, 2013

Today was a crazy day. The wind was blowing over 65 mph blowing snow across the highway and blowing campers and big trucks right off the road into the median on their sides. Our truck fully loaded was 79,000 pounds and even we were getting blown around. Hopefully no one was injured. I know we need to keep the freight moving but people please if the weather turns bad get off the road. We head to Kansas tomorrow to pick up a load heading to Southern CA. Hopefully I can get some good pictures going through the Rockies.

Glad you all didn't blow over.

Been missing some great weather. Got a little hot today. Broke the record high in Orlando (89) & Melbourne (88).

Safe travels!
