Here we have Hurricane Humberto. It is moving at a 10 knot clip to the north with 75knot winds. However, it appears that since there is no wind greater than 65knots on the western portion, the storms track and velocity is a major contributor to wind. The east side of the storm is getting more wind because it's moving and the wind is additive. If the storm was stationery, it would not have that component and the winds would be less. Maybe even "tropical storm" l...
