Nor'easter for Saturday and Sunday

By: TheDawnAwakening , 5:41 PM GMT on December 11, 2013

A major nor'easter appears to be in the cards come Saturday and Sunday as arctic air mass settles into SNE THU and FRI. RIght now models are still in disagree between the deterministic and ensemble members at odds over the placement and track of H5 to surface lows. Right now it appears polar disturbance will try to phase with the southern stream system before it phases with the arctic jet stream disturbance at H5 over the Great Lakes. Depending upon the track of the H5 closed low over Manitoba, Canada will determine potential for significant snows along the coast and further west over interior SNE. Still a lot of time before we get a better handle on potential systems.
