Weather on the Northern Plains

I live in Calgary, where we get the Chinook Winds on a regular basis every winter. For us a 20 or 30 degree temperature change is not unusual. Yeah Oklahoma's recent change is a big one but this winter has been really up and down, I blame La Nina.The entire winter here has been a rollercoaster, from 70F (20 C), the highest temp ever in November to a few days later when it was -20C. The last few weeks have had temps in the 50'sF (10-12C) followed by a regular pattern...
