Gingrich Acceptance Shows That Tea Party Used Cain
By: Tonyaa Weathersbee | Posted: February 3, 2012

In a blog entry at BlackAmericaWeb, Tonyaa Weathersbee challenges former GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain's assertion that black Democrats have been brainwashed. She argues that he is the one who has actually been brainwashed, noting the hypocrisy of the GOP's apparent acceptance of Newt Gingrich's marital infidelities and its rejection of his alleged affairs.

So, who's brainwashed now, Herman?

Right after winning the Florida GOP straw poll back in September, Herman Cain, the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza and dark-skinned darling of the Tea Party, proclaimed that black people's allegiance to the Democratic Party was the result of years of brainwashing, that many were too "closed-minded" to consider voting Republican.

But black people's spurning of the Republican Party has nothing to do with us having closed minds -- and everything to do with us having open eyes.

And open eyes are apparently something that Cain, who endorsed Newt Gingrich in Florida's GOP primary, needs to get a pair of.

It's amazing to me that Cain's own failed campaign for the GOP presidential nomination and Gingrich's rise didn't teach him enough about the racism and hypocrisy in his own party to want to just sit the rest of the primary out.

That's because back in the fall Cain was, at various points, the frontrunner. He was in fact, on a roll. Conservatives loved him, and for a minute even seemed willing to give him a pass on the sexual harassment allegations that four women lobbed against him.

Then Ginger White, his mistress of more than a decade, went public with her story -- and his poll numbers tanked so badly that he was forced to drop out of the race.

But apparently, the same Tea Party voters who soured on Cain because of his philandering got sweet on Gingrich. He won the South Carolina GOP primary handily and with a huge amount of support from evangelical voters.

Quite an "esoteric" article PA(2012 and The Planetary Discontinuity), not sure if I understood it. I don't think things will look or be much different after March 9th, 2012. The same old problems will be around, with I dare say new ones every day. "Dawning of the Age of Aquarious" anyone?

The most important news of the Year so far,

Syria UN Resolution: Russia, China Veto UN Resolution

And it directly affect's this,as predicted by The Web bot.

2012 and The Planetary Discontinuity

As modelspace is progressed into 2012, the [secrets revealed] meta data layer jumps up to dominance in the first 3/three months of the year to reach its initial peak of activity on March 2, 2012, though the meta data layer persists through 2013. During this period of [secrets revealed], we note that [energy (unleashing/unconstrained)] is forming rapidly in many different entities and it moves into position as the dominating meta data archetype by March 9, 2012.

From March 2 through 9 inclusive represents the peak of the building tension language. The movement of modelspace after this point no longer provides dominant building tension. We are able to progress modelspace out to beyond 2014 (with some difficulty) and there is no sign to that point of the return of building tension language.

IF, and it is one of the huge big IF's, but IF we were able to associate building tension language with the [entrenched powers], and there is some small justification for thinking that we may so do, then it would seem reasonable to say that the [entrenched powers] have their point of destruction within the plateau period of March 2 through 9. Note that without regard to whether the [entrenched elite] are able to start their global thermonuclear war and exterminate most of humanity, the [entrenched elite] are no longer dominating powers after March 10, 2012, though as with all entrenched despots it may take us a while to actually remove them all from the planetary social body.

However, this is explicitly NOT saying that all be birds singing, crops growing, and light and love following that day. In fact the data suggests years of much struggle and hardship and huge levels of suffering, BUT at least we will be returning humanity to its 'natural' or 'organic' state , that of continuous release language as we all interact together freely without an over arching 'guiding force' being foisted on us by self described 'elites', who collectively and individually have clearly demonstrated themselves to be not human, and to have shit for brains.

Republican Charlie White, Indiana Election Chief, Found Guilty Of Voter Fraud

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana's top elections official could lose his job and his freedom after jurors convicted him of multiple voter fraud-related charges on Saturday, leaving in flux the fate of one of the state's most powerful positions.

Republican Secretary of State Charlie White has held on to his office for more than a year despite being accused of lying about his address on voter registration forms.

A Hamilton County jury found White guilty of six of seven felony charges, including false registration, voting in another precinct, submitting a false ballot, theft and two counts of perjury. He was acquitted on one fraud charge.

White expressed no outward emotion as the verdict was read, and later said outside the courtroom: "'I'm disappointed for my family and the people who supported me."

It wasn't immediately clear what would happen to White's elected office. He has resisted calls to resign from Democrats and Republicans, including Gov. Mitch Daniels, but state law bars anyone convicted of a felony from remaining in office.

White's attorney, Carl Brizzi, said he will ask the judge to reduce the charges to misdemeanors because his client has no criminal background and has a long record of public service.

Daniels announced Saturday he had appointed White's chief deputy, Jerry Bonnet, as interim secretary of state.

"I have chosen not to make a permanent appointment today out of respect for the judge's authority to lessen the verdict to a misdemeanor and reinstate the elected office holder," Daniels said in a statement. "If the felony convictions are not altered, I anticipate making a permanent appointment quickly."

Bonnet has worked for the secretary of state's office since 2005, the statement said.

QFeb. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke testifies before the House Budget Committee in Washington about the U.S. economy and fiscal policy challenges. (This is Bernanke's prepared statement. Source: Bloomberg)
.Consumer confidence in the U.S. climbed for a second week as Americans became less pessimistic about the prospects for the world’s largest economy.

The Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index (COMFCOMF) rose to minus 44.8 in the period to Jan. 29 from minus 46.4 the previous week. A measure of Americans’ view of the state of economy climbed to the highest since June.

Gains in employment and post-holiday clearance sales at retailers also helped create a better buying climate for consumers, the report showed. At the same time, increasing gasoline costs threaten to hinder progress in household spending, which accounts for about 70 percent of the economy.

“Rising incomes and aggressive discounting by retailers likely created a better buying climate and bolstered consumer confidence to close out January,” said Joseph Brusuelas, a senior economist at Bloomberg LP in New York. “That being said, the increase in the cost of gasoline and the most tenuous of gains in the labor market does place the improvement in confidence in jeopardy.”

Another report from the Labor Department today showed applications for jobless claims decreased by 12,000 to 367,000 last week. The median estimate of economists in a Bloomberg News survey called for 371,000 first-time claims.

Stocks climbed after the figure showed the labor market is improving. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index rose 0.2 percent to 1,326.84 at 9:35 a.m. in New York.

View of Economy
All three components of the weekly consumer comfort index improved. The measure of Americans’ views of the state of the economy rose to minus 79.1 last week from minus 81.1 the prior period. The gauge of personal finances climbed to minus 4.5 from minus 6.9. An index of the buying climate rose to minus 50.8 from minus 51.3.

The Bloomberg comfort survey has a 3-point margin of error, and the index has been stuck below minus 40 -- the level associated with recessions or their aftermath -- since the end of February 2011. The confidence gauge, which began December 1985, averaged minus 46.8 last year, compared with minus 45.7 for 2010 and minus 47.9 in 2009, the worst full-year reading on record.

Forty-one percent of survey respondents said the economy is in “poor” shape, the fewest since March.

The report is “another sign of incremental but sure gains in consumer sentiment as the economy inches forward,” Gary Langer, president of Langer Research Associates LLC in New York, which compiles the index for Bloomberg, said in a statement.

Employment Gains
The increase in confidence partly reflects progress in the job market. Payrolls rose by 145,000 in January and the unemployment rate held at 8.5 percent, the lowest level in almost three years, according to the median forecast of economists surveyed by Bloomberg ahead of a Labor Department report tomorrow.

Confidence improved among households in income groups ranging from $25,000 to $99,900 a year, the report showed. The reading for women climbed to a six-week high.

Some companies are benefiting from the stabilization in confidence. 1-800-Flowers.com Inc., a seller of flowers and gifts on the Internet and by telephone, raised its annual sales forecast citing “positive” trends in all its businesses.

“We are heartened by the recent reports of improvement in consumer confidence,” James McCann, chief executive officer, told investors on a Jan. 26 conference call. At the same time, “we remain cognizant of the challenges in the global economic environment,” he said.

Other Measures
Not all sentiment measures are climbing in tandem. While the Thomson/Reuters University of Michigan Index rose to an almost one-year high in January, the New York-based Conference Board’s gauge dropped after reaching an eight-month peak in December.

Fuel costs have started increasing. A gallon of regular unleaded gasoline climbed to $3.45 as of Jan. 31 from a 10-month low of $3.21 in December, according to AAA, the nation’s largest automobile association.

The Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index is based on responses to telephone interviews with a random sample of 1,000 consumers aged 18 and over. Each week, 250 respondents are asked for their views on the economy, personal finances and buying climate; the percentage of negative responses is subtracted from the share of positive views and divided by three. The most recent reading is based on the average of responses over the previous four weeks.

The comfort index can range from 100, indicating every participant in the survey had a positive response to all three components, to minus 100, signaling all views were negative. The margin of error for the headline reading is 3 percentage points.

Field work for the index is done by SSRS/Social Science Research Solutions in Media,

Patrap, you're right, the proof is not in how it's spun, but instead in the reaction that markets and consumer outlooks have.
