Rain finally comes to San Diego

By: SDSkyWatcher , 11:51 PM GMT on August 02, 2014

I was 12 years old when we moved to San Diego in 1964. We lived until '67 in La Mesa on the NE slope of Mt Helix at 1000 ft elevation, and on one occasion I witnessed a snowfall with trace accumulation.

Hello SDSkyWatcher,
I am Cloudyinthewest. On August 7 South San Jose, California received 001 inch of rainfall.  It has been dry for months prior and up til now the weather has been dry here.  We will see what October brings for us.
