Glad to be back in MN after seven years in the Washington, DC area. Veteran, employed with OSHA, and now with Dept. of Veterans Affairs.

We are already half way through July 2014. This week is special because the baseball All-Star game is being held here at Target Field. I grew up playing baseball and I have fond memories of watching the Minnesota Twins win the World Series in 1987 and 1991.
RIP Kirby Puckett.
Today as I watch the sunrise I am content with being alive. Although there is much turmoil going on around the world, all is quiet and safe in St. Cloud, MN.
Aside from the baseball festivities that are ongoing, the World Cup Final is today. I will watch the game. I've been binging on Netflix lately, watching all five seasons of Sons of Anarchy.
Okay, on to the weather. It's a cool 55 degrees this morning. The birds are chirping, and the sun is rising. No clouds.
