Welcome to The Ark

If you need to get away from all the "end of the world" hullabaloo, well, what better place to hide than an Ark?

Hang out, play some music, have a cookie, some eggnog, or maybe some grog. Be ready to celebrate that we're all still here!

The tutorial for the Youtube code generator is now in Post 7 and 8 of The Ark help files. The link to the generator is now in the right column in my links section here.

Please read the tutorial. It's really easy once you know what to and not to do.

Enjoy!

Could you download a photo?
I think that could be worth bucks! LOL

Just thought I would stop by one last time before
I go horizontal, being up half the night does have
its drawbacks the next day.
Sleeping at odd hours
should eventually put us back to the right sleep
cycle, right?

Either that or we just become zombies. Don't tell
Pottery that. He will want to recommend odd little
dances under a full moon or something. Wait a minute,
there is a full moon in a couple of days I think. :)

Who knows, might work.

Yes indeed.
The moonlight is lovely tonight.
Totally burned out here.
Catch you all tomorrow.
Rest well my friends.
-Hood out.

Will look at that later.
Tried RTL's technique using the gas mask.
Look like Rudolph the rednosed goldfish!

If you survive this treatment some of us would be interested in the details
- well - not so much of the details.
Just need to know if you survived.

Okay, I've got a 6.5 horse Ridgid vac.
Reckon I could just hook the hose up to a gas mask?

Well, no, but it did let me know that it wasn't my reading comprehension that was in question!

Got the leaves mowed. Got my eyes and nose full of stuff.

What does one do for a nose full of stuff one might ask?

I consulted my home do it yourself book and it seemed
to recommend using your shop vac. You do have a shop
vac do you not? I have a nice big 5 gal wet/dry shop
vac myself. It says to clean stuff out, simply plug it
in to any wall socket and turn the on/off switch to the
"on" position. Then use the vacuum hose to vacuum the "stuff".

I don't think you should use the hose on your eyes however.
Perhaps your garden hose might be just the thing. :)

You don't have to thank me, its what I do. :)

Dinner at the kids and grands tonight, back later.

Hey Todd!
Has your weather improved any? I know a lot of folks that were wishing for winter are getting a little more than they wanted this week.

Looks like RTLSNK might not be opening that Slurpee stand after all.

Good morning my thoughts also.

Good Morning to you.
Good to see that someone around here is capable of thought.

Strange word, thought, not really the kind of thing that one wants to contend with early of a morning.
Rhymes with thwart, and fraught. Nought, too. And ought, almost.

Lord, I think I just short-circuited something. I should have bought a better one. Maybe I could have it brought.

That would be very strange would it not? :)

And greetings and salutations to yourself too.

Indeed !

But as we speak (or write, or click, or enter, or submit, or whatever it is we do these days), the sky is Pleasantly Dribbling while the sun is streaming through and turning everything into Sparkle Plenty.

I trust you remember Sparkle. She was one of my Favourites, you know.

How's the fishing?

4 Wahoo
8 Cero Mackerel
2 Jacks
11 Mangrove Snapper
2 Barracuda...(nice ones)
1 Ray
6 Yellow Yail

Just too darn windy since Tuesday afternoon to really get out where the party is happening. :)

Small craft advisory since Wednesday.

All in all a fabulous time. Heading home in AM.

Picked up a new 8'6" casting rod at the Rod Shop...love it.
It's my new Tarpon/Sail rod.

Speaking of Tarpon...see ya later.

:)))

Hmmm...

Single-Handed Fish-Stock Depletion Program, you are !

Well done.
Sad about the windy conditions though.
The wahoo are biting here too right now, but the boat-owner is having issues with one of his knees.
It shouldn't be allowed.....

With all the noise we have been making I am sure we
have roused the captain from his slumber.

I shall therefore go back to bed and let you handle
it Pottery.

You don't have to thank me, its what I do.

Do try to be a little quieter though Pottery.:)

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Then I thought it a bit risque, so I decided on :::.

:)))

Yes, it was a a little risqué, wasn't it?
But I thought "oh, what the heck, lets be spontaneous and see what happens" and there you go.
You have plenty of nerve though, making that response....

Did not get home until after one last night.
The music was sweet, the lime was good.
The body, however, is feeling a little 'delicate' right now.

Also, there seems to be some cloud about.
Or could it be that my vision is still wonky ?
After this coffee hits home, I may know what is what.
The question is, of course, do I really need to know anything at all ?

OH Sure, when I come in here at 0412 in the morning I
tiptoe around quietly, not you though, I could hear you
banging around all the way to Macon. LOL

Whats up? I see chubby Kim Jong didn't care much for
their pals China voting against them at the UN on the
new sanctions. Did a little saber rattling last night.

Lets see, seven more days to wait for the Bone Doc.

No snow yet. Supposed to be freezing rain and sleet
from Atlanta north tomorrow morning but not here.

Want some snow, not ice.

I'm glad that you are fine, but I am not.
I'm looking at a computer at 4 am again.

I suppose being beside yourself is a good thing.
That way you're never alone.

Okay...that's about all I've got to say about that.
Going to go stare at the ceiling some more.

Well okay, but maybe RTL is a little under the weather (pun not intended) because of his impending shoulder proceedure, but for some reason, his wishcasting is mis-firing.

Who wants a slushy dumped all over their house?

Well it's hot dry and breezy here.
Typical dry season weather.

Yeah I'll be careful of the smoke, Snake.
The winds were to my back all the time mostly which made it better.
No way to get close when the wind is coming toward you.
The smoke will certainly kill you if your'e not aware.

Because it rained so heavy up to 10 days ago, we have not begun the fire traces.
Starting that on Monday. Takes 2 weeks to do it though.....
