Backdoor Front Ends Hot Streak...But Not For Long

By: NWRGeek , 6:11 PM GMT on June 10, 2014

We've had a very nice stretch of weather here in Dracut - today is the 4th consecutive day of 80 degrees here - but that is coming to an end for a period as a backdoor front comes through the region. While it won't  be as strong as the BDCF we had a few weeks ago that plunged us into the 40s for highs just after Memorial Day, it will still provide conditions in the upper 60s under mainly cloudy skies with a chance for showers tomorrow, followed by slightly cooler conditions and a chance of showers for Thursday with more clouds. Temperatures will rebound to the mid-70s for Friday with showers and perhaps a thunderstorm likely, and then partly sunny and near 80 for Saturday followed by sunny conditions for Sunday through next Wednesday in the low to mid 80s.
