So the wave train of the African coast is in full swing right now,but gotta tell ya,the environment out in the Atlantic is not very hospitable for tropical development.Lots of dry Saharan air and pockets of shear,so all the systems struggle, even when they get to the carribean.
1.TS Isaac continues to struggle, and soon will be interacting with land masses Haiti and Cuba, this will continue to impede any strengthening.Once it gets into the Florida keys and eastern Gulf will have its best chance to strengthen, but probably won't get past a Cat 1.Still TS force winds extend out a long ways and Florida will be on the wind side of the storm,so I expect some strong winds and heavy rains for Florida. It will probably make landfall somewhere between Alabama and the panhandle of Florida.
2. TS Joyce has been downgraded to a TD and in the next couple of days may just disappear, caught in some very unfriendly waters.
3. Invest 97L has just emerged off of Africa and chances are may have the same fate as Joyce,we'll have to see if the environment stays hostile.
