We've had a series of fronts marching across the northern tier of states, especilly from the great lakes through the east.As we head toward the mid part of August these fronts will start to get stronger, and cool us off more dramatically. The recent fronts have dropped the dew points, but not really cooled us off.Another system is headed our way late tonight and through tomorrow, with another round of possible storms and heavy downpours.Localized flooding will always be a possibility with any of these heavy showers,a few severe storms can't be ruled out, more showers possible on Thursday, then a dry day on Friday and another front for the weekend with more heavy showers. So this seems to be the pattern for the foreseeable future. The Atlantic still looks unfriendly to any tropical systems coming off of Africa
