transition day

By: NEwxguy , 2:02 PM GMT on June 19, 2012

So today will push the temps back to more normal temps near 80,setting us up for the oven the next couple of days. Really concerned about Prince in this weather, will really have to restrict his outside, other than the necessary functions. No walks or very short walks.
Then back to more normal temps this weekend and a little unsettled.

I love Joni Mitchell she used music to express herself and how she viewed life.
I'm starting to see heat advisories pop up in different areas nothing yet here in Massachusetts.Ypu'll probably be wishing the cloudiness return after the next few days.

Good Afternoon, NEw ~

It appears the only "transitioning" I've seen today are the varying shades of gray from these stalled overcast clouds. At least, our temps have currently risen to a respectable 71F degrees, so perhaps hope springs or summers eternal. LOL!

I think Joni Mitchell wrote those stanza's to her tune, "Both Sides Now" with meteorology buffs in mind, i.e.,

Rows and flows of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
And feathered canyons everywhere
I've looked at clouds * that way

But now they only block the sun
They rain and snow on everyone
So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way
I've looked at clouds from both sides now

From up and down, and still somehow
It's cloud illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all

Etc., Etc. ....

In any event, it's best to make the most of this reasonably cool, yet overcast, end to spring today before summer hits us with a torch. Still, those clouds just don't want to budge, so it'll be anyone's guess as to whether or not we'll actually break any record highs in the next couple of days.
