Dry,dry and drier

By: NEwxguy , 1:15 PM GMT on April 11, 2012

We stand about 7 inches below normal since the start of the year, and everything is bone dry.Everyday a brush fire springs up somewhere.
A few showers expected the next couple of days, but not much and scattered,so won't help much with the dry brush.
A pretty good warmup for the weekend and Monday which is Patriots day in Mass. and the running of the Marathon, could be warm. Those runners prefer it cool. The may get a cold front through on Monday morning which will keep it from getting too warm.
Always a big weekend in my area,as the runners arrive in the city,The Redsox game on Monday will be at 11:15 am in the morning, about the time the Boston Marathon starts.

Darn...I finally got a post off to you and it disappeared! Well anyway, hi. Sorry I haven't been around much during the day with things finally picking up a bit in the business end of life.

Glad your construction is coming along (and you didn't burn the house down, lol) And good to know Prince is more stable after getting things adjusted to make him comfortable.

Sounds like you guys really need the rain so I do hope you get lucky and something comes your way. Have fun with your weekend activities for Patriots Day!
Looks like we get one more night of our cold with another frost warning for the morning again.
Poor apple trees and buds.

Take care! Happy Hump Day!

Gamma, its moving a long, plasterer completed ceiling and walls, got the ceiling painted this weekend and last night I mounted our new recessed lighting, six of them and they worked.I did all the wiring myself,so far haven't burned the house down.
I won't paint the walls until we get the new windows put in which won't be for 4-6 weeks.
Update on Prince,he is doing much better, more energy. We are still making sure he doesn't get too excited or exert himself. With his heart disease,he will have to be careful.Appetite is back, but still having issues with digestive tract. But overall wife and I feel much better.

LT,we've had a couple of passing showers, nothing even measurable at this point. Enjoy Floriday,I envy you,we were going down there this year, but decided to do over a couple of rooms in the house.Florida sounds much more appealing.
