Up and Down weather

By: NEwxguy , 2:08 PM GMT on March 05, 2012

So the weather continues to flip back and forth, which is normal for spring, although basically we are still in winter.
It was a dry weekend, temps not too bad,but now its turned much colder for the next two days, then on Wednesday we approach 60,and on Thursday we go over 60 in most souther new england, then back to normal for the weekend.
Such sad stories out of the tornado ravaged areas. The saddest is the passing of the 8 month old child that was found in a field. We're really not even into tornado season,as we think of it and already two major outbreaks, for people out in the tornado alley,it must send chills down your back wondering if this is a preview of what is to come.

Hi,Mass, wife and I are pretty much over the cold, still left with a little stuffiness, but as colds go,this one really kicked our butt.I've seen in the past where warmer winters tend to have more illnesses,I have alot of theories, but little facts,so I'll just keep my mouth shut.
As for the tradedies in the midsection of our country, man seems awfully puny when it comes to mother nature,we are just no match. As more and more areas are populated, these kind of disasters are inevitable. The east coast is so populated now,I'm just afraid one of these hurricane seasons, there is going to be a big one that rides right up the coast, lets hope not,but the disaster is there.
You and me both are looking forward to the 60 degree weather,it won't last long, but it will be nice while its here.
Hope you day is a good one!!!

Good Morning NEw ~

Hope you're over most of that nasty headcold by now and feeling much better, at least, physically. One would think that this milder winter wouldn't produce as many varying illnesses as it has with many of us these past few months. Go figure! Hubby and I were commenting, to each other the other day, that we seemed healthier last year in spite of all the arctic temps and historical amounts of snowfall. Peculiar, to say the least.

Like you, I am also pained about the recent tragedies that have just taken place in the parts of the South and Mid-west, etc. Obviously, this past decade has shown a definite increase in extreme weather events most everywhere as well as to their timelines. It boggles my mind, sometimes, that, in the year 2012, more scientific progress has yet to be made in helping us to further deter or prevent such tragedies from occurring. So painfully frustrating! Nevertheless, my heart goes out to all whose lives were taken and to their survivors.

On a happier note, my fingers are crossed that Thursday wil produce the 60 plus degree weather expected this week! It certainly will make a great prelude to daylight savings time on Sunday and spring's offical arrival the following week! Hope there are a lot more days like that to follow real soon! I'm definitely ready for them!
