For the most part winter has been above norma, but we have had cold fronts some stronger than others. This weekend will feature a very strong cold front. The timing is uncertain,as there may be a low forming along the mid-atlantic coast, and depending on how strong this gets and how quickly it moves past us and how close it gets will determine when the artic air gets in here.It doesn't look like it will have a major impact on our weather except for Conn. Ri, and SE Mass.,but even there it shouldn't be a major impact.Once this low passes, then the door is open for artic air to come rushing in and will probably be the coldest air of the season, but it won't last long as most cold snaps this winter.Sunday and Monday will be the coldest days and by Tuesday we will be back up to near 40 again.
