Since New Year's weekend storm,we here in New England have been lucky, while the Mid-Atlantic has been targeted with all the storms. While the Mid-Atlantic will get hit again, this storm will be far enough north that southern New England will be hit by this one, maybe up to a foot in some areas.
The problem is how far north does the heavy snow bands get, right now it looks like Conn. RI and SE Mass are in the area to get the most, but models are split, some putting the 6 -12 as far north as Boston.I have a feeling it will move farther north, but where I live in the suburbs west of Boston,I'll be right on the line,I could get 6,or a foot.
This should be a quick mover and end by midnight tomorrow night. It's definitely going to blow up once it gets to the coast,so a lot of winds with this storm, the Cape and Islands could see winds over 50.
