This is N2PHI – County Radio Officer/Emergency Coordinator for Camden County Office of Emergency Management with a reminder that the county 146.895 repeater is operated by authority of the Camden County Office of Emergency Management, intended for use by legally licensed and authorized amateur radio operators. Unauthorized use by any unlicensed operator is in violation of Federal Communications Commission Regulations (CFR Title 49, Part 97)
And is subject to recording, tracking and prosecution. All unlicensed stations and transmissions from thereof are strictly prohibited and should cease transmitting at once. We have recently experienced unlicensed operators accessing out repeater and testing new Baofeng Radio's that picked up cheap and were testing for use for another hobby. Any amateur radio station hearing unlicensed users accessing any Camden County Owned repeaters are asked to contact the Camden County EMCOMM group at email@example.com or call 856-783-4808 ext 5029.
