October 2013 forecast for Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba

October is expected to continue the warm and dry weather but not the near record heat we saw in September.

Oct 1-10: Near normal over most areas, dry.

Oct 10-20: best chance of snow in the northern regions and eastern regions. dry and mild in Alberta

Oct 20-31: Major Chinook event possible in Alberta with winds upward of 130km/h. Very warm, possibly record heat may come with this wind. Extreme fire risk in the southwestern corner.

Hello Mikeman444, I am Dave from San Jose, California. USA. There was a big snow in Alberta, Saskatchewan on Nov 5, 2013. The weather here in San Jose has been dry since April.
