Rainfall uptick Wednesday

By: KeleHawaii , 2:29 PM GMT on August 30, 2012

It remained cloudy much of the day and the rain my gauge this morning at 4AM held .70 inches which is about twice normal for late August.

Temps were only 2 degrees cooler due to the cloud cover.

I checked the gauge again at 6AM and another .30 had fallen since 4AM so my total was a full inch for the past 24 hours! That's a LOT for this time of year.
