Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 32 and it feels like 22. Highs will continue to range between 49 and 66 with lows between 28 and 52. There is a 40% chance of showers on Monday, and a slight chance of rain on Tuesday. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 29 and it feels like 19. Todays high is 37 and a low of 24 with winds out of the North at 19mph with higher gusts. Thursdays high is 47.
Now, for your severe/winter weather update for the Southeast Region. Could see severe weather potential around December 4th-8th, and around December 10th-12th. Could see winter weather potential around December 11th-12th.
Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, all is quiet with no development expected over next couple of days. In the Eastern Pacific, all is quiet with no development expected over the next couple of days. In the Western Pacific, all is quiet with no development expected over the next couple of days. In the North Indian Ocean, Very Severe Cyclonic Storm Lehar has winds of 75mph with a pressure of 982hPa. Movement is West-Northwest at 13mph. Is expected to make landfall on the coast of Eastern India as a weakening tropical cyclone by late today/early Thursday. In the Southern Hemisphere, Tropical Cyclone Alessia has reformed. Winds are at 40mph with a pressure of 991hPa. Movement is East-Southeast at 3mph. Will make landfall soon on the Northern Coast of mainland Australia.
