Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 35 and it feels like 35. Highs will continue to range between 36 and 64 with lows between 23 and 47. There is a 100% chance of rain/sleet/wind today, a 100% chance of rain tomorrow, and a slight chance of rain on Wednesday. Winds tomorrow will be out of the North at 16mph with higher gusts, and out of the North-Northwest at 18mph with higher gusts on Wednesday. Heavy rainfall of 2-4 inches are expected with locally 4+ inches possible. A mix of snow, sleet, and ice are possible this morning, tomorrow morning, and early Wednesday morning. At this time, no accumulations are expected. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 35 and it feels like 30. Todays high is 38 and a low of 33 with a 100% chance of rain/sleet/wind. Tuesdays high is 42 with an 80% chance of rain. Winds out of the North-Northeast at 17mph with higher gusts.
Now, for your severe/winter weather update for the Southeast Region. Could see severe weather potential around December 2nd-5th, and around December 8th-10th.
Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, all is quiet with no development expected over next couple of days. In the Eastern Pacific, all is quiet with no development expected over the next couple of days. In the Western Pacific, all is quiet with no development expected over the next couple of days. In the North Indian Ocean, Severe Cyclonic Storm Lehar has winds of 75mph with a pressure of 988hPa. Movement is West-Northwest at 6mph. Lehar is expected to become a category 2 storm Tuesday afternoon, and a category 3 storm by late Tuesday. Is expected to make landfall on the coast of Eastern India by Wednesday afternoon. In the Southern Hemisphere, all is quiet with no development expected over the next couple of days.
