Heavy rain/severe weather today, cooler into next week

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 46 and it feels like 46. There is an 80% chance of scattered thunderstorms today, and a slight chance of rain tomorrow. Winds tomorrow will be West at 21mph. Main threats for today into early Sunday morning will be for large hail, damaging winds, heavy rainfall of 1-3 inches with locally 3+ inches, and flash flooding. An isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out. Highs will continue to range between 51 and 73 with lows between 28 and 55. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 47 and it feels like 47. Todays high is 58 and a low of 52 with an 80% chance of scattered thunderstorms. Sundays high is 56 with a slight chance of rain and winds West at 23mph.

Now, for your Severe Weather Update for the Southeast Region. There could be severe weather potential around March 30th-April 2nd, around April 5th-6th, and around April 7th.
