Rain again today, going to get colder this weekend

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 40 and it feels like 40. Highs will continue to range between 43 and 64 with lows between 25 and 46. There is an 80% chance of rain today and a slight chance of rain tomorrow. Some storms could be strong to severe with main threats being for pea to quarter size hail and frequent lightning. Additional rainfall amounts of 2-3 inches are expected with locally 3+ inches possible. Flash flooding will be possible once again. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 44 and it feels like 40. Todays high is 54 and a low of 45 with an 80% chance of rain. Wednesdays high is 51 with a slight chance of rain.

Now, for your Winter/Severe Weather Update for the Southeast Region. There could be winter weather potential around the 16th-17th. There could be severe weather potential possibly around the 18th-19th, around the 21st-22nd, and around the 24th-27th.
