More rain/storms today, short break tomorrow, but rain returns this weekend

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 62 and it feels like 62. Highs will continue to range between 49 and 73 with lows between 27 and 62. There is a 60% chance of thundershowers today. Some storms could be strong to severe with large hail, damaging winds, isolated tornadoes, heavy rain of 1-3 inches with isolated amounts of 3+ inches possible, and flash flooding. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 60 and it feels like 60. Todays high is 70 and a low of 61 with a 60% chance of thundershowers. Fridays high is 70 with a slight chance of rain.

Now, for your Winter/Severe Weather Update for the Southeast Region. There could be severe weather potential possibly around January 12th-16th, and 24th-25th.
