Heavy rain/flash flooding/severe weather threat tomorrow into Thursday

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 30 and it feels like 30. Highs will continue to range between 45 and 77 with lows between 30 and 58. There is an 80% chance of rain on Wednesday and a 60% chance of scattered thunderstorms on Thursday. Some storms could be strong to severe with large hail, damaging winds, tornadoes, heavy rain of 2-4 inches with isolated amounts of 4+ inches possible, and flash flooding. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 28 and it feels like 28. Todays high is 59 with a low of 48. Wednesdays high is 58 with an 80% chance of rain.

Now, for your Winter/Severe Weather Update for the Southeast Region. There could be severe weather potential possibly around January 12th-14th, 15th-16th, 20th-22nd, and 23rd.
