Rain/storms begin late tonight, could be strong to severe Saturday/Sunday

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 28 and it feels like 28. Highs will continue to range between 49 and 71 with lows between 31 and 56. There is a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms Saturday and a 60% chance of thundershowers Sunday. Few storms could be strong to severe Saturday into Sunday with large hail/damaging winds being the main threats. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 29 and it feels like 29. Todays high is 61 with a low of 46. Saturdays high is 65 with a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms.

Now, for your Winter/Severe Weather Update for the Southeast Region. There could possibly be severe weather potential around the 15th-17th of December, 20th-22nd, and around 26-28th.
