Strong to severe storms today into Monday; gets colder

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 61 and it feels like 61. Highs will continue to range between 51 and 76 with lows between 27 and 57. There is a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms today and there is a 90% chance of rain/wind Monday. Strong to severe storms are possible late this afternoon into Monday. Main threats will be large hail and damaging winds. An isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 62 and it feels like 62. Todays high is 75 and a low of 54 with a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms. Mondays high is 53 with an 80% chance of AM rain/wind.

Now, for your Winter/Severe Weather Update for the Southeast Region. There is severe weather potential with a system around the 10-11th of December. Could possibly be severe weather potential around the 15th-17th of December and again around the 20th-21st.
