Warm today, Rain/storms Tuesday, and one last storm for the Atlantic?

By: JohnnyParker , 1:03 PM GMT on December 01, 2012

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 34 and it feels like 34. Highs will continue to range between 56 and 75 with lows between 36 and 51. There is a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms on Tuesday. Few storms could be strong to severe. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 37 and it feels like 37. Todays high is 70 and a low of 50. Sundays high is 73.

Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, shower activity associated with a broad area of low pressure located over the Central Atlantic Ocean about 1350 miles East-Northeast of the Leeward Islands is gradually becoming better organized. Some additional development of this low is possible over the next couple of days before it merges with a frontal system. The National Hurricane Center is giving this system a medium chance, 40%, of becoming a tropical or subtropical cyclone during the next 48 hours as it moves generally to the North at 10-15mph. In the Eastern Pacific, all is quiet.

Hope yall are having a great Saturday and I'll have another post tomorrow.
