Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 60 and it feels like 60. Highs will continue to range between 70 and 81 with lows between 43 and 55. There is a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms late Wednesday into Thursday. Few storms could be strong to severe with large hail and damaging winds. An isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 59 and it feels like 59. Todays high is 75 with a low of 50. Tuesdays high is 76.
Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, Tropical Storm Rafael has continued to intensify. Winds are at 70mph with a pressure of 988mbars. Movement is North-Northwest at 10mph. Tropical Storm Watch in effect for Bermuda. Expected to become a hurricane by later today as it heads towards Bermuda then Canada. In the Eastern Pacific, Hurricane Paul has strengthen. Winds are at 75mph with a pressure of 988mbars. Movement is North at 7mph. Expected to head toward the Baja California Peninsula. Tropical Storm Watch is now in effect a portion of the Baja California Peninsula.
