Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 63 and it feels like 63. Heat Advisory now in effect for North MS until 7pm Sunday night. Heat Index will range between 105 to 114. Highs will continue to range between 94 and 106 with lows between 70 and 75. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 68 and it feels like 68. Today’s high is 103 with a low of 72. Fridays high is 105.

Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, Debby is gone. Dissipated yesterday afternoon. Also out in the Atlantic, a westward moving tropical wave that is located about 1,450 East of the Windward Islands continues to produce disorganized showers and a few thunderstorms. Any development of this system should be slow to occur as it moves Westward at 10-15mph. The National Hurricane Center is giving this system a low chance, 10%, of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours. Eastern Pacific remains quiet.

Hope yall are having a great Thursday and I'll have another post tomorrow morning. Continue to pray for the tornado victims and those affected by damaging weather events.
