Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 66 and it feels like 66. Highs will continue to range between 93 and 102 with lows between 62 and 73. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 71 and it feels like 71. Today’s high is 100 with a low of 72. Tuesdays high is 91.

Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, Tropical Storm Debby has weakened slightly and is not moving. Winds are down to 50mph with a pressure of 993mbars. Movement is stationary. Not expected to become a hurricane at this time. Forecast path has shifted more toward the Florida Panhandle. Tropical Storm Warning is in effect from MS/AL border to Suwannee River, Florida. Tropical Storm Watch in effect for parts of Florida, too. Eastern Pacific remains quiet. Main impacts from Debby in Florida and along the Gulf Coast will be heavy rain of 5-10+ inches and flash flooding, high waves/rough seas, isolated tornadoes, high winds, storm surge, and rip currents.

Hope yall are having a great Monday and I'll have another post tomorrow morning. Continue to pray for the tornado victims and those affected by damaging weather events.
