Slightly warmer next week, but more cold air coming

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 26 and it feels like 26. Highs will continue to range between 45 and 65 with lows between 25 and 54. There is a 30% chance of PM showers today, and a slight chance of rain tomorrow. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 24 and it feels like 24. Todays high is 50 and a low of 39 with a 30% chance of PM showers. Saturdays high is 50 with a slight chance of rain.

Now, for your severe/winter weather update for the Southeast Region. Could see severe weather potential around December 20th-22nd, and around the 25th-28th. Could see winter weather potential around December 21st-28th.

Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, all is quiet with no development expected over the next couple of days. In the Eastern Pacific, all is quiet with no development expected over the next couple of days. In the Western Pacific, all is quiet with no development expected over the next couple of days. In the North Indian Ocean, no development is expected over the next couple of days. In the Southern Hemisphere, Tropical Depression #05F has winds of 30mph with a pressure of 1000hPa.
