2010 We The People of America Can Do Better

By: Jamiekins, 4:16 PM GMT on December 29, 2009

In 2010 we need to start to take a stand and take back the Government. Remember the people in Washington Work for US. We are the government and we elect all these people. If we don't stand up and say enough is enough of all the BS they are doing with Lets bail out this Company and that Company and fatten the Big business failures . Sorry if they can't make their bills let them fold just like the small business had to do. I am tired of having to bail everyone out I would like to see the Government bail me out of my debt that I have. I don't see that happening soon. If I am late 1 day on my bills I get harassed or my interest rate go from 9% to 25% with out any warning. Let start doing that to the Companies that we have bailed out remember it was our money that bailed them out in the first place without our ( the people of the US ) permission. I am sorry but we have people out on the streets from loosing their homes because they can't make the payments and I don't blame them I blame the government for granting loans to people that could not afford them in the first place. And then the bank are crying to the Government that they are going broke because of this. Well cry all you want. 2010 is a few days away and I know and feel that there is gonna be a major shake up in Washington this yr with the elections just right around the corner.

It is time we say alright now you want to work for us you need to start to listen to us because you can be replaced.
Remember they are not GODS they are no better that you and I. There are a lot of sets coming up for renewal and I personally would like to see the change come to where we the people of this great country finally can say we have a VOICE in what goes on in Washington.

I believe this country needs some kid of health care but not this one. I know from what I have gone through with 2 surgery's under the proposed health care my surgery's would not of been covered because they would of classified it as elective surgery's.

What we need to do is get the medications down and the doctors and hospital cost down. If we can get that started more people would be able to afford Doctors visits and medications and trips to the hospitals, it cost me around $500.00 a month for medications and that is my out of pocket expense with insurance. I have to figure out which ones I can live with out from time to time. My heart goes out to those elderly people and the ones that lost their jobs lately that are trying to pay thier COBRA insurance (COBRA is a Government health care as well) trying to scrape by and figuring out what is most important to them food or medication.

If we don't stand up in 2010 we are gonna have the next decade of living heck and how are all these people out of work gonna afford the new health care plan. IT is mandated that if you don't have insurance you have to buy it from the government. if you can't afford the insurance now with no job how the heck are you gonna afford it then. And what are we gonna do build more prisons because if you don't get the insurance you can be put in jail and fined for it.

PEOPLE LETS FINALLY TAKE BACK AMERICA THE LAND OF THE FREE and finally get these people out of office and see how they like to have to go out and find a REAL job like the rest of us. They have been in their seats long enough and it's time to shake up Washington. As I may Quote from Obama's campaign WE NEED A CHANGE and 2010 is gonna be the time

By: Jamiekins, 3:41 PM GMT on December 01, 2009

No disrespect to anyone here nor anywhere else but this came across my desk and has to share it with everyone. I ROFLMAO when I read this because this really happened to me a few yrs back. I think It's bad that we can't have a Christmas party anymore because of all the PC that goes on. Come on people let just have some fun and enjoy the Birth of Christ. All Name in the memos have been changed to protect the innocent.

RE: Gala Christmas Party

I'm happy to inform you that the company Christmas Party will take place on December 23rd, starting at noon in the private function room at the Grill House. There will be a cash bar and plenty of drinks! We'll have a small band playing traditional carols... feel free to sing along. And don't be surprised if our CEO shows up dressed as Santa Claus! A Christmas tree will be lit at 1:00 PM. Exchanges of gifts among employees can be done at that time; however, no gift should be over $10.00 to make the giving of gifts easy for everyone's pockets. This gathering is only for employees!

Our CEO will make a special announcement at that time!
Merry Christmas to you and your family,
Patty

RE: Gala Holiday Party

In no way was yesterday's memo intended to exclude our Jewish employees. We recognize that Hanukkah is an important holiday, which often coincides with Christmas, though unfortunately not this year. However, from now on, we're calling it our "Holiday Party." The same policy applies to any other employees who are not Christians and to those still celebrating Reconciliation Day. There will be no Christmas tree and no Christmas carols will be sung. We will have other types of music for your enjoyment.

Happy now?

Happy Holidays to you and your family,

Patty

RE: Holiday Party

Regarding the note I received from a member of Alcoholics Anonymous requesting a non-drinking table, you didn't sign your name. I'm happy to accommodate this request, but if I put a sign on a table that reads, "AA Only", you wouldn't be anonymous anymore. How am I supposed to handle this?

Somebody?

And sorry, but forget about the gift exchange, no gifts are allowed since the union members feel that $10.00 is too much money and the executives believe $10.00 is a little chintzy.

REMEMBER: NO GIFTS EXCHANGE WILL BE ALLOWED.

RE: Generic Holiday Party

What a diverse group we are! I had no idea that December 20th begins the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which forbids eating and drinking during daylight hours. There goes the party! Seriously, we can appreciate how a luncheon at this time of year does not accommodate our Muslim employees' beliefs. Perhaps the Grill House can hold off on serving your meal until the end of the party or else package everything for you to take it home in little foil doggy baggy. Will that work?

Meanwhile, I've arranged for members of Weight Watchers to sit farthest from the dessert buffet, and pregnant women will get the table closest to the restrooms.

Gays are allowed to sit with each other. Lesbians do not have to sit with Gay men, each group will have their own table.

Yes, there will be flower arrangement for the Gay men's table.

To the person asking permission to cross dress, the Grill House asks that no cross-dressing be allowed, apparently because of concerns about confusion in the restrooms. Sorry.

We will have booster seats for short people.

Low-fat food will be available for those on a diet.

I am sorry to report that we cannot control the amount of salt used in the food . The Grill House suggests that people with high blood pressure taste a bite first.

There will be fresh "low sugar" fruits as dessert for diabetics, but the restaurant cannot supply "no sugar" desserts. Sorry!

Did I miss anything?!?!?

Patty

RE: The Freaking Holiday Party

I've had it with you vegetarian pricks!!! We're going to keep this party at the Grill House whether you like it or not, so you can sit quietly at the table furthest from the "grill of death," as you so quaintly put it, and you'll get your f*%^ing salad bar, including organic tomatoes. But you know, tomatoes have feelings, too. They scream when you slice them. I've heard them scream. I'm hearing them scream right NOW!

The rest of you Freaking weirdos can kiss my *ss. I hope you all have a rotten holiday!

Drive drunk and die,

The B*tch from H*ll!!!

RE: Patty Lewis and Holiday Party

I'm sure I speak for all of us in wishing Patty Lewis a speedy recovery and I'll continue to forward your cards to her.

In the meantime, management has decided to cancel our Holiday Party and give everyone the afternoon of the 23rd off with full pay.

Happy Holidays!

Joan
