Good Monday morning!
The first few days of summer, which kicked off on Friday June 20, were actually quite summerlike. Temperatures were in the 70s and there was just enough moisture in the air to generate some scattered "popcorn" thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. We'll see a break from the Orville Redenbacher today, thanks to high pressure moving in from the west, but the popping may return again late tomorrow and could last all the way though Saturday.
