Wisconsin Weather Update for August 29, 2014.

Good Friday morning! Here’s your personally-researched weekend weather preview for east-central and southern Wisconsin:

Forecast Summary: Scattered storms through early Saturday. More storms Sunday night. Warm and somewhat humid through the holiday weekend.

Scientific Synopsis: A slow-moving area of low pressure to our west is going to continue to develop these scattered showers and thunderstorms that began yesterday evening and should linger through early Saturday. After that we probably dry out for a couple days, other than an isolated thundershower that could develop Saturday afternoon or evening. Temps should be warmer than yesterday and somewhat humid through Monday, with the humidity dropping on Tuesday.

Conditions: Scattered showers and thunderstorms likely.
Chance of Rain: 90%
High Temp: Warmer, highs near 80 east-central, low to mid- 80s south.
Dew Points: Rising through the 60s (somewhat humid)
Winds: Somewhat breezy at times from the south.

Low Temp: Mid- 60s.

Conditions: Showers ending in the morning, then maybe an isolated thundershower in the afternoon.
Chance of Rain: 30%
Temps: Highs in the upper 70s to near 80.
Dew Points: Mid- to upper 60s. (somewhat humid)
Winds: A small breeze from the west.

Conditions: Morning sunshine, then increasing clouds. Thundershowers return Sunday night.
Chance of Rain: 40% Sunday night.
Temps: Highs in the lower 80s.
Dew Points: Low to mid- 60s (just a little humid)

Next Week’s Outlook:
Showers end Monday morning, then things look good through Wednesday with the next chance of rainfall returning Thursday and Friday. Highs generally near 80, give or take a few degrees, but with September in full swing next week, that won’t last much longer. Enjoy your lack of labor Monday!
