Wisconsin Weather Update for January 6, 2014.

Active Advisory: Wind chill warning remains in effect until noon CST Tuesday.

Today’s Synopsis: Ridiculously bitter arctic air has arrived from the North Pole, bringing with it colors I rarely ever see on a temperature weather map. Santa, you can have this present back, thank you very much.
Today’s Conditions: Mostly cloudy, windy and horribly cold with occasional flurries.
Today’s High Temps: Only near -10 with wind chills to -45!
Today’s Winds: Windy from the northwest.

Partly cloudy, windy and remaining bitterly cold. Lows again near a ghastly -20. Wind chills to -45.

Tomorrow’s Synopsis: Monday’s arctic air mass is moving eastward, gradually bringing “warmer” and less windy conditions.
Tomorrow’s Conditions: Partly sunny, not quite as windy, and becoming “warmer.”
Tomorrow’s Temps: Highs only slightly below zero, or if we’re really lucky, warm enough to have no degrees but not give away any either! Lows tomorrow night -10. Wind chills to -45 early tomorrow morning, to -25 tomorrow night.
Tomorrow’s Winds: Breezy from the west, decreasing late.

Extended Outlook:
Wednesday: Partly cloudy, highs in the upper single digits to near 10 above. Sounds balmy, but it gets even better...
Thursday: Mostly cloudy, highs in the upper teens to lower 20s. Above zero.
Friday: Snow showers, could be a couple inches or even a mix! Highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
Saturday: Partly sunny, highs 30-35.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy with flurries. Highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
