Clouds today, snow tomorrow (heavy snow south and west). Dry Wed. through Fri.
We’ve got a couple different weather systems we are keeping our eye on right now. A very tricky-to-forecast dual low pressure system currently in the northern and central Plains is going to merge together tonight, then sweep across the Ohio Valley tomorrow. Even though the main low is going to cross southern Illinois early tomorrow, enough moisture is expected to shoot north into Wisconsin to create some significant travel headaches. While the Fox Valley is only expected to get a couple of inches tomorrow, some areas in southern and western Wisconsin could see 10+” by the time this winds down! After tomorrow, we stay mostly cloudy and dry, although a new rain-changing-to-snow event could arrive on Saturday.
Spring Weather Outlook
And if you’re looking for a seasonal March-May weather outlook, we may be warmer and wetter than average, according to the Climate Prediction Center.
