Light fluffy snow early today. Mix of precip Sunday evening. Temperature roller coaster!
First of all, thanks for the very positive feedback on the “Father-Son Forecast” illustration last week Friday. Bryce has agreed to illustrate my forecasts more often and we may even have something on Monday morning for you to enjoy. I may give him a little more freedom with the pictures, but if I start getting Wednesday helicopters destroying Thursday army men, I may have to rethink that decision!
As for the forecast, it’s going to be a bit wild (as if a child made it up!) The latest batch of fluffy white stuff outside should be ending shortly if it hasn’t already with less than 1” of new accumulation expected today. We start warming up tomorrow and especially Sunday through Tuesday when we hopefully break the freezing mark, before temps plummet once again by late next week. A storm system comes in late this weekend and may provide an interesting batch of snow, freezing rain, and/or sleet Sunday afternoon and evening. Meteorologists will have a better idea of what the precip will be shaped like this weekend, so keep up with the forecast if you’re planning to be on the roads Sunday evening in case things get slick out there!
