Wisconsin Weather Update for May 25, 2012.

By: HaleStorm , 12:51 PM GMT on May 25, 2012

Some sunshine and cooler today, more storms tonight and tomorrow. Hot on Sunday and Monday.

Much of Wisconsin was under a severe weather watch yesterday evening, and if you lived in the western half of Wisconsin, you probably got some storms (including one tornado near Wausau, see link below). But the storms weakened as they travelled through central Wisconsin, and by the time they got to eastern Wisconsin, we pretty much just had a brief rain shower out of the deal.

As for today, expect a mix of sunshine and clouds, cooler temperatures behind yesterday’s storm system, and breezy conditions eventually becoming less breezy as the day progresses. However, the next storm system quickly comes into the picture with scattered thunderstorms developing once again tonight, tomorrow, and tomorrow night. Warmer air returns this holiday weekend with highs possibly getting to near 90 on Sunday!
