New weather station software up and running

By: Greenosity , 12:51 PM GMT on April 15, 2013

After dealing with the poorly designed Weatherlink weather station software from Davis for too long, I finally switched to Cumulus this past weekend. My screen saver now activates as it should and Weatherlink/Weather Underground module is not there to steal the focus and appear to be frozen every time it needs to perform a task. Why has Davis never designed their software to work properly in a multi-tasking environment?

Switching to Cumulus was much easier than I had feared and it runs smoothly. The interface is well designed and uncluttered compared to other weather station applications that I looked at in the past.
