Been a while...Long While

By: GrantKMiles, 11:26 PM GMT on June 05, 2014

Well hello out there in Wunderland. It's been a bit since I last surfaced here on Wunderground, and the inauguration of my new station & website seems about as good a reason as any to check in and share whats been going on lately.

Over the past 6 months, I've moved out from Studio City to my new home in Simi Valley. Things just got way too complicated with the landlord and so I I decided I didn't want one anymore. I wound up purchasing my first home he...

Winter Doldrums

By: GrantKMiles, 9:11 AM GMT on January 07, 2011

Can't sleep tonight and I suddenly remembered today that I had started a Wunderblog here. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone! I trust you all had a pretty good holiday! By: GrantKMiles, 8:55 AM GMT on December 22, 2010

Haha... my Davis Vantage Vue weather station is alerting me to the Ursids meteor shower currently taking place. That's funny. Two celestial events missed due to OVC in as many days. Again I say, oh well. The National Weather Service is starting to use terms like "severe thunderstorms," "large hail," and "tornados" to describe the weather we can expect here in the morning. Ha. Southern Californians have no idea what a severe thunderstorm is until they visit the...
