Voice to Text……….
.Looking down into the Sea of Cortez this morning I can’t see any clouds at all. That moisture plume that passed over the Sea yesterday morning and early afternoon is now gone. So it looks like the Sea will be seeing abundant sunshine today.
Looking south to the Mexican Riviera I can see a few areas of some cloudiness to the south of Cabo Corrienties. They look like just high whispys and might not even be noticed on the ground.
Looking further to the south to the Tehuantepec where the gap winds continue to diminish and are now less than 20 knots. Wednesday it looks like they could pick up again to the 30 knot ranges but today and tomorrow look pretty pleasant.
Not a lot of action along the ITCZ this morning. A couple of lows embedded in the zone creating some convection but certainly nothing tropical will develop.
Looking off into the Caribbean where himicane Tomas has been plutoed to a tropical storm and is now headed toward Haiti.
That’s about it for our hood so looking now north to the west coast of America where the eye is drawn to that big honking 946 low descending down the British Columbia coast from the Gulf of Alaska. This huge swirling mass is spreading clouds out as far as Alberta this morning. Big time rain and snow are forecast for the Great Northwest when it arrives tomorrow.
This honker will stay well to the north of the building high pressure over the rest of the western conus.
Clear skies, warm temps, some reaching record highs for November, will show up in southern California and the southwest through Thursday when the high is forecast to start to weaken. Then a slow and gradual cooling period will begin.
Meantime the lower deserts will be seeing temps in the 90s into the weekend.
Back down here in Baja it looks like the northern Sea will be seeing 3 more days of 25 knot winds. The central and southern Sea 2 more days.
The good news is we will see lot of sun and today’s highs will continue to be in the high 70s to the low 80s.

Don't chisel these forecasts in stone. This is an Amateur Endeavor. They, however, are normally very close.
