After the Sonrisa Weather it’s back to work.

The following is from my daily ham radio Report

Voice to Text……….
. Looking down into the Sea this morning I can see the Pineapple Express has been picking up moisture along the way from the ITCZ to Baja. Not a lot of convection along the ITCZ this morning. The plume has a lot more moisture than yesterday morning. The plume has slipped a bit to the south and the extremes are about Lorteto to Manzanillo this morning. Looking closely it looks like there are a few stragglers’ over Concepcion Bay.
What it looks like to me is that this area will see a small mix of fluffys in with mostly whispys today. I can see some cells that will have dark bottoms so a sprinkle or two is certainly possible.
Looking south: There are no advisories for the Tehuantepec for the next 24 hours.
Further south, as I mentioned, there is not a lot of developing convection along ITCZ this morning. The southern wing of the jet stream is now transporting this plume toward Baja at about 120 mph this morning.
That’s about it for down here so looking now north to the west coast of America where the coast is mostly clear this morning north to Washington state where a weak front is bringing rain to the Great Northwest this morning.
Southern California under building high pressure will start to warm up a bit through mid week.
Off to the southwest , well first looking at the Great Basin. This image is showing a very cold low system swirling over the 4 corners area right now slowly moving off the east. Snow advisories have been issued by the National Weather Service for the 4 corners region for today.
This system is dipping down into central Arizona and it looks like it has just passed through Phoenix. Any snow or rain will limited to the northern portions of Arizona today.
Back down here today the northern and central Sea will see mostly sunshine.
As far as the winds today. The annual Mulegé Yellowtail tournament is being held today and hopefully the wind will start late. I’m forecasting 11-15 north westerlies later this morning. If the fishing gods are with them they should be able to have acceptable conditions this morning before the winds come up. We’ll see.
As far as the rest of the Sea it looks like today will be the most pleasant of the next 3 days with 20+ knot northerlies forecast for Monday and Tuesday. Temps today will be in the high 70s with some locations making it to 80 today in Baja.

Don't chisel these forecasts in stone. This is an Amateur Endeavor. They, however, are normally very close.
