After the Sonrisa Weather it’s back to work.

The following is from my daily ham radio Report

.Looking down into the Sea this morning I can see that the Sea is pretty much free of any clouds. I can see some isolated fluffys here and there but in general clear skies.
Looking south to the Mexican Riviera it looks like they will see some cloudiness today from about Cabo Corrienties south.
Zooming out and looking south down at the ITCZ this morning I can see where the subtropical jet has weakened to about 70 knots and moved further east this morning is only picking up some rather weak convection around 110, The plume is very broken and scattered and it looks like it will continue to send mostly high clouds, whispys, over the area from about Puerto Vallarta south today.
So the sky conditions look pretty good with just some mainly whispys passing over the Mexican Riviera from a rather weak Pineapple Express this morning. There are still some isolated cells in this plume that could be shower producers but I’m thinking more sun that clouds.
At 4am I was seeing 35 knot winds here at my palapa in El Burro cove. These strong gusts have continued all morning.
The central Sea will see the strongest winds today and they will be in the 30-40 knot ranges. A bit less to the north and south.
Tomorrow as the highs over the Great Basin migrate east the gradient will lessen and the winds will be lighter on wed and Thursday pretty much back to our normal moderate February northerlies.
That’s about it for down here so looking now north to the west coast of America where off the west coast of Oregon and Washington there is a nice low that will arrive today and trigger valley rain and snow in the cascades and the sierras.
This system will sag south and weaken as it moves into southern California. Wednesday and Thursday then stronger storm system will move into southern California on Friday afternoon and into the weekend.
For the southwest: An active and progressive weather pattern will remain in place through the next week as several storm systems of varying strength move through the southwest.
For today and tomorrow high pressure builds overhead bringing clear skies and warming temps. Then on late Wednesday a weak system will pass through the 4 corners area bringing mostly just some cloudiness. High pressure will fill in until Friday then a more significant storm will move into the southwest on Saturday bringing showers and mountain snow.
Meantime back at the ranch the winds will be blowing today. Winds in the central Sea will be on cusp of Gale force velocities so check the ground tackle and find a good book and hunker down.

Don't chisel these forecasts in stone. This is an Amateur Endeavor. They, however, are normally very close.
