After the Sonrisa Weather it’s back to work.

The following is from my daily ham radio Report

Voice to Text……….
.Looking down into the Sea this morning the Sea itself its pretty much cloud free with the exception of some isolated whispys. Off to the southwest of the cape I can see our latest tropical storm now named Marty. The WNW winds off the Baja peninsula are veering a plume of clouds from Marty over La Paz this morning and as far north as Constitucion. I would imagine that as Marty slowly moves NW the peninsula will see plumes of debris clouds pass over the peninsula for the next several days.
Looking now south to the Riviera I can see there was just moderate thunderbumper activity there within the past 24 hours.

So taking a look now at our tropical kitchen: On the front burner we have our latest named storm, a name we are unfortunately familiar with, Marty. He is about 400 miles SW of the cape on a very slow trek northwest. Winds are in the 40-50 knot ranges. The track is forecast to continue to continue to parallel the coast until Saturday when it becomes depressed and then hook a hard left and head off to Hawaii. Not much chance of a “Crazy Ivan” here. Our experience of this Marty will be mostly passing debris clouds that are spun off the storm.
That’s it for Marty. On the back burner, I can see a large area of heavy convection between Manzanillo and Zihuatanejo this morning, just off shore. The good folks at the National Hurricane Center have given this an honorable mention this morning saying that this activity is expected to move toward the west with some potential for slow development during the next day or two. They give it a low chance of developing into anything significant within the next 48 hours. Well just have to wait and see how this system develops.
That’s about it for down here so looking north now to the west coast of America where about the only thing of interest is that low that has dropped down from Utah into northern Arizona. It will be a rain maker in the mountains mostly to the north and east of Tucson as it tracks southeast today. One other item of interest is the high that will be building over the entire western conus this weekend. Temps will soar in central and southern California as well as the southwest. Tucson will creep up on the century mark this weekend with Monday being the hottest day.
Back down here in Baja: With the exception of the southern portion of the peninsula where they will be seeing some cloudiness, the rest of the Sea and peninsula will be seeing abundant sunshine. Light to moderate winds again today with most likely a northern flavor.

Don't chisel these forecasts in stone. This is an Amateur Endeavor. They, however, are normally very close.
