3 DAY WINDS FORCAST ON THE WEBPAGE

The following is from my daily ham radio Report

:
Voice to Text……….
.Looking down into the Sea this morning I can see lots of fluffys in the cape area, the southern crossing and all along the Riviera this morning. Off shore from about Ixtapa Zihuatanejo south to the Tehuantepec there is a honk’n thunderbumper working right now. It looks like our tropical season has arrived.
This moisture is coming from a high along the ITCZ about 103 north this morning. It’s a cloud pumping out machine. Water vapor imagery is showing lots of moisture with the heaviest concentration south of Ixtapa Zihuatanejo this morning. The rest of the Riviera will most like see some clouds with dark bottoms but no rain. Same for the cape area. As far north as here in Concepcion bay we could see a fluffy or two pass over today.
So it looks like mostly sunshine for the Baja peninsula today.
Looking now at the GOES fog seeing satellite that does not show any fog inside the Sea but does show it in the Sacramento valley and the California delta this morning. I thought If it showed fog there it might show it here in the Sea, but ney ney ney. We must have special fog in the Sea of Cortez. It does not looks like we currently have fog in the bay this morning. However Bob on DarkSide in Santa Rosalia reported heavy fog.
Anyway this image does show a heavy bank of fog hugging the coast form about Turtle Bay north into southern California this morning.
Looking north now to the West Coast of America where the Santa Barbara fires are about 70% contained but Sundowners are forecast for today and tomorrow keeping the 2,300 man fire crews on alert.
At the top of this image I can see those lows I mentioned early in Washington are bringing rain as far south as Eureka this morning. Portland and Seattle are forecast to have rain for the next 3 days. These lows and associated cold fronts will follow the storm track, paralleling the US/Canadian border and the first one will reach the Great Basin today and the second will arrive on Thursday. There effect will be to lower the temperatures in the southwest a few degrees this week. Temperatures along the desert southwest will still be around 101 until probably Friday.
Back down here in Baja we will also be enjoying warm temperatures typical of May. The fog we have been having has kept the mornings cool the past couple of days, however the afternoon temperatures will climb up to the mid to high 90s. So mostly sun today with light to moderate southerly’s.
